For the moms that are trying to make money at home on the Internet, I think there is one point that cannot be stressed enough in article marketing. I know this will not be one of those articles that gets 50 views in the first couple of weeks, but I think that this is an important enough point that for those of you that take the time to read it, you will be better off for it.
The tendency is to consider everyone as a potential prospect for your product, service or business opportunity. I want to give you mothers that are either staying home trying to earn some money part time, or for those mothers that are trying to get something started so you don't have to keep working outside the home, some information that will have a surprisingly large impact on your marketing.
Simply stated, the more focused you can make your copy, articles and content; the more likely you will be to get the desired results. Let's look at it from your own perspective. If you were to look up all the articles in this directory on article marketing, you would have to decide between thousands of them. So, ask yourself, how would you decide which ones to read first?
The process that you would use is probably similar to the one most people would use. You would start to scroll down through the articles until one of the titles or descriptions struck a personal note with you or caught your eye. Can you think of anything that would catch your eye more than if your name was in the title?
Yes, that is a little extreme, but what if the title said, *5 Things that Make Article Marketing Easier for Stay-at-Home Moms. * If you were trying to determine whether or not article marketing was appropriate for you as a stay-at-home mom, you would probably pick this one over one that just said, *5 Reasons Article Marketing is effective. * Look at these in a list, and see which one stands out to you.
Top 5 Article Marketing Mistakes
5 Easy Article Marketing Tips
5 Red Hot Strategies to Boost Your Articles Success!
5 Things that Make Article Marketing Easier for Stay at Home Mom's
5 Reasons Article Marketing is effective
I think you can see which one would probably stand out more to the stay-at-home mom. The truth is that you may check it out even if one of the other titles better addresses what you are looking for just because it address you so specifically. The other side of that is even if you are not a stay-at-home mom, you would still read that article if you were interested in finding ways to make article marketing easier to do.
Even when you write to a very specific target audience, you not only get that audience, but you get the spillover. But if you are not specific, then you only get the spillover, because nothing makes you stand out enough to get any specific attention.

Article Marketing - Stay-at-Home Moms Give a Variety of Solutions and Then Identify the Best
Moms can use these techniques to help their customer first learn what their options are and then help them see which solution best fits their needs. This way when they get to the website or sales letter, they are already educated on the best benefits and features to look for. Of course you are not going to write about problems you don't have solutions for.
One of the most common mistakes that people just getting started with article marketing make, and one that every stay-at-home mom should really make an effort to avoid, is they write about the things that they think would be the most interesting to their potential customer. This alone is not enough.
The most effective method of writing articles is to understand the mindset of your customer. What does that mean, and how do you do that? Instead of thinking in general terms what might be important to a potential customer, you first need to identify specifically who the ideal customer is.
For example, if your ideal customer would be a stay-at-home mom trying to find ways to earn some of her own money, you might want to think about her motives for doing that. For example, some women before staying home to raise their children had good jobs and were use to having their own money.
They miss the independence they once felt from earning their own money. Maybe they just want the freedom to have and spend some money that they don't have to account for.
Another possibility might be that a woman is grateful that her husband has made it possible for her to stay home and she knows that he really hates his job, and as he is getting older, it is taking its toll on his body. In this case, maybe her motivation is that she wants to be able to develop an income that her and her husband can rely on so he can quit his job.
In either case, she may not have a lot of money to start something from home, so she will want to find something that she can begin to generate money through her own efforts rather than spending a lot of money on marketing.
Knowing these things about your ideal client, and making sure you address these issues when writing articles and copy, can help them feel better understood. Having their specific concerns being addressed makes it easier for them to be able to make a buying decision, or to feel comfortable to try and get more information.
You may have the best product or opportunity in the world, but if you don't talk about how its features and benefits specifically address the concerns of your ideal customer, you can't expect that they will easily make the connections themselves.
It is your job, in article marketing, to PREsell the potential customer by giving them information that is specific to them, their wants and needs, and to make the connections between the different solutions -- then help them identify which features and benefits will best satisfy their specific wants and needs. In other words, not talking about how a specific feature will help them make money, but talking about how the specific feature making them more money will help them regain the sense of independence they once felt, when they were making money on their own. See the difference? If you can do this they will want to get more details.
If you can do this, they are going to want to see your offer. You do this, and they are going to get excited about getting started because they know the sooner they get started, the sooner they can have that independence and freedom they so miss.

Article Marketing - Mom's Thrive Working From Home By Marketing Better
Every once in a while, you find another little gold nugget, that although small, may add significant value to your future. What does that mean? It means, that the more article marketing I do, the better I can see the clear path that you, as a marketer, should be trying to create so your customers can find you, and clearly be able to differentiate between you and your competition.
If nothing else, the fact that you have made the path so easy to find and follow, will get you business that others won't get because their prospects will lose their way before ever getting a chance to buy from them.
I am going to pick a product that is commonly sold through affiliate marketing to give you an example. For this example, you are selling web hosting. If you are an affiliate marketer, and your supplier has done their job, they have kept up with the changes and current demands of the customers of today.
For example, you may want to find a web hosting company that has *cpanel* as their control panel, and *fantastic-O* functionality. This is a combination that better supports WordPress templates and plug-ins. In this example, the web hosting company has already explained in their sales letter that they offer this service, and why they offer this service and how this differentiates them from their competition. But, most importantly, how this service impacts the buyer, and why it matters to them.
With those two pieces in place, this is how you make yourself out to be a genius in your article marketing. You write an article on how to get your blog better ranked in the search engines. You explain that first you have to find a hosting company that offers these items, and then you go on to explain how if they use this process with a WordPress theme template and the proper keywords, they can expect faster recognition and ranking by Google and the other search engines.
If a person is serious about wanting to improve their marketing they could have a link in their resource box. From there one could either get a more detailed report on how this process works, with examples of key words and ranking that they can currently check out for themselves.
There would also be a link to the affiliate page that you were given by the web hosting company. Or you could (less effectively) just put your url that is forwarded to the affiliate link in your resource box.

Article Marketing - This Just May be What the Stay-at-Home Mom is Looking For
It's not a secret. It isn't as if no one knows she is there. We even know that she controls over 50% of the purchasing decisions in her home. So why don't we spend more time talking to her? Asking her questions? Finding out what she needs and wants? Of course, I am talking about the stay-at- home mom.
I have known about you since my first introduction to home based business. I have read statistics about you and read articles written by you since I started looking around the Internet for ways to make money from home. Yet, since then, I have read thousands of emails, hundreds of sales letters and websites, and yet, you don't seem to be getting your due recognition.
When I first started interviewing women looking for home based business opportunities, you would tell me that you are on the Internet very regularly looking around at everything. You see all of these claims that you can make all of this money from home, but most of them are like a shell game.
They promise the world, they say all the right things, they get your interest, but they never seem to just come straight out and tell you what the business actually is. You tell me things like, *It usually turns out to be one of those pyramid schemes.* The truth is after a year or so, you have just about lost hope. Now it all sounds the same; it reminds you of the teacher's voice in the Charlie Brown classroom scenes. (whaa whaw whaa whaaaaw)
So what is the answer? Article marketing. When I was in grade school, I hated the girls the teacher put on my left and right to keep me out of trouble, because they had perfect handwriting. They would pass notes back and forth day after day. When we needed to write a book report, it was more like an art project. Their hand writing was so consistent and readable.
Since then, I have even read books about, and practiced my hand writing, and still my office manager will hand me a note, or my mother, and the hand writing is beautiful. So how does all this lead me to the conclusion that article marketing is the solution to your problem?
I think many women as girls were encouraged in there writing pursuits. They have a writing voice, the know how to express themselves and their not afraid to write. If you combine this with some of the opportunities that are opening up on the Internet, I think you have a good fit.
The truth is there is an information gap on the Internet. Thousands of searches come back without results every day. Even the guy whose writing was destined to be a doctor, and whose brain was destined to be a janitor is writing and making money on the internet. Thank God for spell check and grammar check -- did I mention the thesaurus button?
So start simple, go to blogspot.com and set up your blog. Then setup an account on this article directory. Then just start writing articles. Don't know what to write about? Start by writing about your frustrations of trying to find ways to make money from home online. Want to understand something on the Internet better, like SEO? Then write 50 articles about it, and soon you will be the expert that people will be looking to for advice. Go ahead, give it a try.

Article Marketing - Stay-at-Home Moms Need Flexibility When Trying to Make Money From Home
One of the things that I love about article marketing is that I can just leave my computer on, with a Microsoft Word document open and if lightning strikes, I can stop for a minute at my computer and jot down a couple of notes for later. Now you could just as easily do this with a note pad, it is definitely a matter of personal preference. The point is, don't let those moments of inspiration go unrecorded.
Here is the problem. You are home all day taking care of your children, but prior to this; you have always worked, and felt good about your financial contribution or just having your own money. It doesn't have to be much, but you just want to contribute something financially to the home or have a little spending money that you don't have to account for. Yes, you are completely covered up with all the demands of raising your children. Yes, you know this is the right choice to stay home with your children. But!
You want to have something of your own. You want to feel the satisfaction that even with all this; you are doing something that brings money into the home. You may not even completely understand it yourself. You just know that when you get these little breaks here and there, when you get to sit down in front of the computer, that there has to be a way that you can make some money. I mean, heck, there is only 7 billion ads on the Internet screaming that it's possible right.
I know you have tried a couple of things. The problem is that you can't schedule appointments. You just never know when the next crisis is going to begin: when one of the children is going to require your undivided attention. Heck, you can't even be sure, that when you do have a free moment, that you will have the energy to talk, much less conduct an appointment.
That is what is so great about article marketing. You contribute the time when you have it. No effort is ever wasted as long as you write it down. There are no deadlines, and everything you do will build on your previous work. And it doesn't cost anything to start. Here is an example.
An idea crossed your mind in the middle of making PB and J's. You walk over to the computer, lick off your finger, and write one or two sentences with no punctuation and then walk away.
Two hours and 38 minutes later, all of the kids have finally fallen asleep. You sit down at the computer and you punctuate your sentence and you start to expand on the idea. You look up a couple of websites that you had seen earlier in the week, and refresh your thinking on your idea and you actually get 3 paragraphs written. You hear the baby crying, you are off.
Next time you sit at the computer is two days later. The website and the article you started are still up, and you have to read it all again to get your brain started. About 10 minutes after that you are typing away, and 30 minutes after that you have added two more paragraphs and you now have 378 words. That is an article. You get up and go get a drink, come back and do your final proof read, submit it to your favorite directory. By the next morning, it is published, and you have had 13 people read it, and one of them went to visit your blog.

Article Marketing - Is Everyone a Candidate for Your Opportunity? You Have Missed the Point
Have you ever stopped and really thought about who your readers are? The more directly you write to the person who is reading your article, the more impact what you write is going to have on her. Let's assume for a moment, that you have thought about whom she is, have you thought about what is most important to her?
I see it again and again, article after article turns into a three to five hundred word ad on your topic of choice. So, who are you writing this article for again? There is one word that you should be thinking about every time you write an article. That word is, *PREsell.* If you don't know what that is, then you will find this information invaluable.
One of the most important considerations for every human being on earth before they buy something from another person is can they trust that person. Learning to establish that trust can be the difference between your voice blending into the noise and chatter of daily life, or you being a trusted advisor in your area of expertise. Understanding this is to understand PREsell.
When writing articles, PREselling is when you give something of value to a person before you try to sell them anything. Usually, what you give them is information on a topic that they are interested in. As an expert author, you share with them your value as a resource on a topic. You give them information that they either did not know, or that makes it clear to them that what you do know is beyond a conversational understanding, you have knowledge and expertise that they are looking for.
Why would you do this? You do this not to provide all the answers to their questions, but to help them get some of the answers that they are looking for, and to provide them a resource for getting fuller, more in-depth information. This is a win win. They are getting a chance to test drive your information and see if it meets their particular needs and interests, and you have a free platform (article directories) in which to show your expertise and build your credibility as well as find new prospects.
Let's say you are going to walk buy 100 people that are all trying to sell you something. As you walk buy each person they have 3 seconds to get your attention. So they say things like, look at me, buy from me, I have what you've been looking for, this one will make you sexy. Now they say these things in high voices, low voices, funny voices, and sad voices. The more of them you walk by, the more they all sound the same.
Now, when you walk by me I ask a question, *Did you know that an understanding of key words can be the foundation for all successful internet marketing?* Ask yourself, if you are interested in Internet marketing, who are you going to stop and talk to? Your article gives you a chance to put a specific message out there so that you find the people looking for the information, and just as importantly, they find you.

Article Marketing - Ideas For Content Are Only Twice As Wide As Everything And Four Times As Long
Ever feel like you are at a loss for content? I will be honest with you, I don't. Right now I am in the process of writing 100 articles on article marketing. But, I do find myself getting distracted. Sometimes, I think I will get bored and won't be able to finish, but I have found a few ways that helped me avoid these problems so far.
First of all, a lack of content ideas to me is just crazy. I sign up for everything I can put my name and email address in. I get two email's a day from Armand Morin about his new big release on the 18th. I get two emails a day from Max Steingart about his instant messenger lead conversion program. I get two emails a day from Sean Mize, the author pretty well known for his article marketing.
The point is that there is a wealth of topics and information out there and everyone is dying to tell you about theirs. I could pick any one of the names above or 50 other names, and write 10 articles just by going through their emails and talking about much of the content that they give away trying to educate and entice me.
Sticking with one topic long enough to write a hundred articles about it is a first for me. There is a lot of really good information out there. For example, I recently listened to Christopher's audios created from over 40 questions from authors just like you and me. Christopher is the publisher of ezine article dot com, in case you did not know. He gives you 5 different formats with which you could write 5 different articles about the same subject matter.
In addition, he explains how you can look at the same topic from many different perspectives. I can write about article sets from the writer's perspective. I can write about them from the reader's perspective. I could even write about them from the article directories perspective. With the same basic information, I have just pounded out 3 or 4 more articles on a topic I am focused on, so all I have to do is reorganize things a little and follow the inspiration.
Finally, I can write about how article marketing relates to any topic in the world. Then I could write an article on how I would use article marketing to promote that topic. I could write about the process I would use to prepare, write and submit articles. Then I could write about what I would do with the articles after that, each one using a different product, service, interest, as they relate to their key words. And each would be an article that would help people in those areas.
The point is, once you have picked a topic, you can think about how it fits into, impacts, relates to, avoids and loves, what it would be like on vacation, what it would be like at a park. All you have to do is just put it in a different box depending on something that influences or inspires you. Then you have a unique and new article on the topic. Simple, right?

Article Marketing - As Simple as One, Two and Three
I could write about one, two and three. Then I could write about how things are when one, two and three are together. Then I could write about what it would be like if one two three did not exist. What would one two three be like if you forgot one? If you only had one, would that be of any use to you?
What would one, two three be like if you took away two? What if you thought two was too feminine? Would two be any fun without one and three? What if two was cracked or misspelled? Did you know that two can also be part of double digit numbers too?
What would one, two and three be like without three? If three is really just a small group of one's, is one still the loneliest number? Can three be eaten without milk? What if when you have one, two and three, you put them in the order of three, one and two?
If you were to take one of any of the numbers one, two three and bring in another one, two or three, would that be similar to h2o? Do you think that one, two three is effected (affected) by the weather? What about if they are indoors or outdoors?
The bottom line is that you can take something as simple as one, two and three and catalog as many different scenarios as you can think about in a day using everything in your life, memory and environment and write about it all day long. I guess what I am saying is that one, two and three are really infinite.
When you're done with all of that, go ask your mother what one two three was like when she was a kid.

Article Marketing - You Can't Live Without These 3 Building Blocks
1. The articles have to have key word rich content. We know that people don't go to the article directories and just search around through the list and pick out whatever catches their eye. The bottom line is that people perform searches with the major search engines, typing in a key word or keyword phrase in order to find data that will help them get the information they are looking for.
So, although you should write your articles for humans, you should write them for humans that are looking for their information through search engines. If your article is not indexed with appropriate and logical key words, it is probably going to end up an undisturbed packet of bits somewhere: therefore, bringing you, as the writer, very little value in terms of creating pathways back to your website, blog or ezine subscription -- which translates to little or no visitors for your site.
2. The articles have to be published on high profile directory sites with a *page ranking* of 3 or higher. The reality is that most of us will never have a website, blog, article or group of articles valued by the search engines enough to get a top page ranking for a key word or key word phrase. This is the value of publishing and syndicating your articles with one of the larger article directories. They have the clout, you have the content.
So, an article directory gives your article credibility both with the readers, and the search engines. Because of this, it has a better chance of getting a higher ranking in the search engine results. Those rankings will improve the visibility of the article and provide you with readers you might not have otherwise gotten.
3. The article has to have a working resource box with at least one fully written URL, information on the value that the author brings to the reader, and a call to action.
Not only is your article going to be published on other sites, each having different formats for inputting the data, but you don't know who will be doing the actual publishing. One way of protecting yourself against possible problems with the links in your resource box is to type at least one URL with the full http colon back slashes in the address.
In addition to the great article, let the reader know something about the author that will confirm to them that looking to this author for more information is a good decision. *John Doe has personally helped 70 people learn to eat properly with a knife and fork allowing them to eat in public without ridicule.*
And lastly, a call to action: *If you never want to be embarrassed by your obvious lack of breeding again, sign up to receive a free report on how your use of the knife and fork can fool the most pompous people, even fooling the king and queen themselves.

Article Marketing - For Those With Eyes To See, Real Opportunity Awaits
I want to be honest with you; my goal is to build a massive responsive opt-in email list. So why am I writing all of these articles on article marketing? Because I know that if I master this, it will be the foundation I will be able to build my entire online marketing career.
How is that possible? Let's think about this for a minute. Isn't it words that determine and measure the course of everything that happens on the Internet? It all started with a bunch or research done by college professors and students at the major universities around the United States.
This research was stored on hard drives connected together by an information dissemination system created by the United States Military to enable them to maintain a wide area network in case of nuclear attack.
Doesn't that sound like something out of an old science fiction novel? What's funny to me is that the reality of today has exceeded all of our wildest fantasies of our yesteryears.
Today we have algorithms that are so complex they are able to determine and predict patterns not only in language, but in languages so specific they create thousands of different groupings which help us all find the information we are looking for out of billions of web pages all over the world.
I guess it is more accurate to say that Google helps us find it about 64% of the time, and on the high end, Yahoo helps us find it just above 70% of the time.
The amazing thing for those that have eyes to see, the opportunity is in the gap. A gap that will be narrowed someday I am sure but will probably never be closed. What do I mean? In that window of 25% to 35% of the time when the information people are looking for is not to be found, is the gap that is waiting for some enterprising individual to fill. And all they have to do is write something. Is that someone going to be you?
The most interesting thing to me is that there are clues and maps leading whoever is looking right to those unfilled gaps. Those clues and maps are found in the key words of those searches that go unsatisfied. For example, if the key words *Travel to Forest Lake Minnesota* was searched for 300 times a month, and the major search engines show zero results for that key word phrase, then this is an opportunity for someone to create content for.
By doing that, they now have an audience of people that they know are interested in travel to that location. The question they should ask themselves is what does this group of people want or need, and then find a product, service, or affiliate program that fills that need, and they can start to market to that group. An example might be, a hotel and campground guide for that area.
So let this be the call to action for those that have ears to hear. Write; write your way into the opportunity created by the information age and an insatiable appetite for more information -- more specific information, more personalized information, an appetite which only grows each time it is momentarily satisfied. Because the more answers we get, the more questions we have.
