Article Marketing - Should You Submit To Multiple Article Directories? If So, How Many?

There was one question that I had, that I wasn't sure who I could trust for the most accurate answer. I read article after article and I even read a few training manuals, and I still felt conflicted about the answer. What is the question you ask? The question was simple, should you submit articles to multiple directories, and if so, how many?

Let me start by saying, that if you want to learn about article writing, start with one directory that has live people who proof, edit and approve all articles that get published on their directory. The feedback you get will be invaluable.

Second, I think you should be willing to read 20 or 30 articles, and then buy and complete the training materials of one of the authors that you feel best suits you based on the articles you were able to read for free.

And Finally, I think that you have to have written at least 25 articles, maybe more, for some people a lot more, until you really start to have a handle on article writing.

Notice I did not say that you should not write any articles until you have done any of these things. I did not even say that you should not write any articles on article writing until you have done any of these things.

As matter of fact, if you really want to learn about and become a master article writer, then write 10 to 25 articles on article writing. I cannot think of a better way to learn anything than to try and teach it to someone else.

As a matter of fact, I don't think you can consider yourself a real master at anything until you have taught someone else to be a master. Again, I am not saying you can't be an expert, but to really master something, you have to have successfully taught others to do the thing.

Ok, what was my question again? Oh yeah, multiple directories yes or no, and if so, how many? Let me explain one more thing quickly so you know why this question is not obvious. The reason is the search engines and what some describe as a penalty for duplicate content.

The search engines would not be doing their job if you did a search and got two full pages of results from one article that had been submitted and published to a thousand different places on the Internet. Not to mention that spammers use tactics like this to try and beat the system and the search engines are adding value by not letting such things work or go unchecked.

Let me just finish by saying that the goal is article syndication. You submit your articles to directories not only so the search engines will give your articles appropriate search engine rankings for their key word content, but you submit them so others can use your articles on their blogs, websites and in their ezines because they are looking for content to help them keep fresh and interesting information.

The bottom line is that the search engines have hundreds of other variables that they use to determine ranking, with the goal to be human friendly. The value you get through exposure and back links to your site through your articles being widely syndicated has an intrinsic value that supplies viewers to your website independently of the search engines: for a sense of security, you should know that you are not completely dependent on the search engines for all your traffic and your livelihood.

So publish your articles to good and widely accepted article directories on the Internet and let them do their part for you through syndicating your articles and supplying traffic back to your site.

Article Marketing - What Is It? Part I

If you haven't heard of article marketing, welcome to the Internet. Not only will you be hearing more about it, you will probably be interested in developing this skill. Let's start by saying that the name, *information highway* is appropriately descriptive for the Internet. Information as we understand it is recorded in words. Certain groups of words are often used in correlation with each other representing the vernacular of a topic or subject.

Lucky for me, I figured this out in college. Being obsessed with getting A's and not having a lot of background in biology, I knew if I could master 1000 vocabulary words out of the text book, my chances of getting an A were greatly increased. This works by the way.

A few years later, the world is trying to learn a new way to research information on the Internet by guessing a word or two that might help them narrow down the amount of data one might have to go through to find information they are looking for. The hope was that you might be able to guess a word or two that was topic or subject specific enough that it would only retrieve data that you wanted to find.

Now if you are new to the Internet and article marketing you might feel a little confused about how all of this ties into article marketing. Actually, this information is the key to understanding SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and understanding SEO is the key to effective article marketing. More confused? Let me see if I can help clear this up.

Article marketing has two goals. One main goal and the other is a subset of that main goal. The main goal is to drive more targeted traffic to your site. In other words, you don't just want big bunches of people to come look at your site, you want people that have in some way prequalified themselves as interested visitors to come to your site in mass quantities. To be honest with you this probably doesn't sound easy, and before the internet it was even harder than it is now, getting targeted traffic that is.

By the way, those words that people are using to sort information or said another way, that are used to reduce the amount of information that a person should have to go through before finding relevant information to them, are called *Key words.* And when there are at least two or more words put together, they are called *Key Word Phrases.*

Article Marketing - What is it? Part II

So let's see if we can tie some of this together. It starts with the Internet, a huge amount of data indexed by words spread all over the world, but tied together through one medium. Then you have a goal, to make money finding people who want something you are trying to sell.

To accomplish this, you implement a strategy (Article Marketing). You do this to gain the attention of a specific group of people, only people interested in a specific set of topics. By providing them information for free, you are offering them a trade. They get the information they are trying to learn about and in the process they give you an audience to place your products or services in front of. We are betting that these people are predisposed to buy these products or services based on their interest in this information.

Let me try to explain it another way. The Internet has provided us access to millions of people interested in acquiring information. And by providing information specific to a particular subject or topic through article marketing, we know that the group of people created by their interest in this information are or may be interested in buying certain products or services.

So, article marketing is utilizing the tracking and research of key words used by people on the Internet to find specific information they are looking for. And through that research identifying these groups of people based on their interests in particular topics or subjects. You are trying to gain access or get this groups attention by writing articles using these specific key words that will be indexed and presented to these people through search engines. This is the tool they use to sort through all the information on the Internet to find specific information needed by or relevant to them.

So instead of paying to post an ad somewhere, there is enough traffic that you might be able to attract the interest of a segment of that traffic and get them to come to you for a product or service. You research the history of key words used by people on the Internet through search engines to create information for these people and publish it in places that the search engines have previously determined as places where information being published is of satisfactory quality for their customers, the search engine users. You want to give your article priority listing, a listing on the first page of results provided to the searchers.

Now you have information created and published to fulfill a specific need found through researching previous demands for key words, published in a place with the greatest likelihood to be found, to get the attention of the people who are looking, so you can let them know that you sell a product or service they are likely to be interested in buying. Boy I am glad we cleared that up...

Article Marketing - Learn How To Get So Much Traffic You Couldn't Stop It If You Tried Part I

Did you know that each article you write is like having a personally hired and trained sales rep just for you and your business? The better you equip that sales rep, give her good information and the right tools, the more effective she can be. In the article marketing world we call each article an *article agent.* You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the more agents or sale reps you have out in the field, the more opportunities for sales you are going to have.

I want you to take a moment and think about conversion ratios. I have worked at companies where there were more than 25 sales reps working for the company. The interesting thing is that you could randomly select a group of sales reps just about anywhere and you will find that there are always a couple that just do amazing things. They sell so much more than everyone else that it's hard to believe their from the same planet as the rest of us.

Then on the other end of that spectrum, there are always those reps that sell so little that it seems like their phones must have been broken for most of the year. These are the ones that companies have to churn through year after year and find replacements for.

But the majority of sales reps fall in the middle. The funny thing is that you can usually measure the difference in total sales between all of those in the middle with numbers in the single digits.

There is one more thing about sales reps that is kind of interesting, and that is it is just about impossible to tell what group a sales rep is going to fall into when you hire them. Sometimes the person you think is going to be fantastic ends up being very average, and the person you thought might not be so hot, ends up being the rep that turns the world on fire. You just never know.

The point is that you just need to keep putting reps, out there. Enjoy the amazing ones, lament the not so good ones, and let all the rest make you a great living. Just remember, that more is always better, and it is the only part you can control.

Article Marketing - Learn How To Get So Much Traffic You Couldn't Stop It If You Tried Part II

How does all of this relate to article agents? I am glad you asked. Some articles you write will have amazing results, some will have terrible results, but most will be in the middle, and you will find that your ability to predict which is which will not be very accurate.

I have written articles that I have poured my heart into and just knew that they were going to be read and syndicated by everyone. Then I have written articles that just flowed out so easy my cooling fan on my laptop did not even get a chance to start, and I had the article done and off to be reviewed.

Do you think that the results were proportional to my efforts? If you said yes, you would be wrong. The results are just as unpredictable as trying to choose which sales rep in article one was going to be the best. You just can never tell.

After all of that, we can finally make one more important point and that is that your control over the results of any individual article agent is very little, but your control over the number of article agents is completely in your control.

Now that you have the understanding that most articles are going to fall somewhere in the middle and your ability to predict which is which is not going to be very good, you know that you can focus your energy on the one thing that you can control and that will have the greatest impact driving targeted prospects to your site. Write lots of articles.

How many? Somewhere between 30 and 300, the more you write the greater the results, and yes, the results are exponential. What does that mean? It means that if 5 articles will get 100 visitors, then 100 articles won't get you 2,000 but probably closer to 3,000 or more. They build momentum from each other.

The other day I heard someone say that after they published a certain number of articles, they could not turn the traffic off. I don't know about you, but I am dying to have that problem. I promise not to complain too much...lol

Article Writing - Anyone Can Do It, Right? Let's Cut Through The Hype And Lay Out The Facts

Did you know that writing articles for directories on the Internet is very different from how you learned to write papers in college? Heck, writing articles for directories on the Internet is very different from what you probably learned in high school.

Let's start with high school first, because that is where you were supposed to learn the basics of sentence structure and grammar.

I hear it all the time, anyone can do it, and you don't even have to know how to write. Many ads even go so far as to suggest that you can copy other people articles as long as you change just the right number of words.

To start with that is all crap! Here is the truth. Do you have to have perfect spelling, sentence structure and grammar? NO. Spelling should just about be a non-issue, because all word processors come with some kind of spell check.

The biggest problem I run into with spelling and spell checkers is improper use of the word, or a word that looks like it could spell the word that I want, but it just isn't the right word. Here is an example: argent and arrogant.

Yes, I know for those of you that can see the obvious difference, you probably think I am an idiot, but the truth is that the correct spelling seems obvious now, but for the life of me I could not come up with it, and the spell check never gave the correct version as an option.

As far as sentence structure and grammar you have a lot more leeway there. I will say, that you are better off is you can write correctly, but a more conversational tone seems to more than suffice and is even preferred by most people.

Now let's get to college. All of the context, referencing sources, taking all sides into consideration, this is all counterproductive and not what people who are looking for real world info on the Internet are looking for.

I am not saying there is no place for all of that; the truth is that level of depth better exist on your website if you are really any kind of expert at all. As for the articles that you submit to article directories and what the people who read them are looking for, the answer is mostly short concise answers that give them the gist of what they want to know, and if they want or need more info or depth, make sure your resource box gets them back to your site so they can get the depth and specifics if they want them.

I wonder if it is too brash to say that articles are the cereal and shampoo samples that give you a chance to really try the product, at least one full serving, or one complete application, but if you want more, you have to go to the website.

Article Marketing Is Like Hiring A Salesman? How Can That Be? Part I Of III

Call me crazy, but I love the analogy that publishing an article is like hiring a salesman and sending him out to sell for me. Not only do I think it is cool to think about how many salesmen I can enlist to do the work, but I like all of the parallels that can be drawn between the two.

First of all, a solid group of articles is probably even better than a salesman, if they are equipped with all the right tools. I say this because an article really does never sleep, doesn't need an expense account, doesn't drink alcohol, and can't get into an automobile accident... This doesn't even take into consideration never complaining or being able to quit.

So, what are some of the way's they are alike? Well, let's start by saying that if you don't equip them properly than you can greatly reduce their effectiveness. If I hired a sales rep, and never gave him business cards, he would probably have a hard time getting call backs much less what it would do to his credibility. This is what it is like if you don't create your resource box on your article. There is no way to find you, and how much stock are you going to put into an article that isn't signed?

Let's say you do put a resource box at the end of your article but you don't have the right information in it. This would be like giving your sales rep business cards, but not putting his name on them, or no phone number. How do you think that will impact his effectiveness?

Many of the characteristics of your article can have similar impacts as a sales rep that shares those characteristics also. For example, if your article is too smart, it will probably be too long and won't connect well with the attended audience. This would work out about the same as a salesman that was just a little too smart. He would probably come across as arrogant, and not connect well with potential clients.

What if your sales rep came across as aloof and not so bright? Well, people are not going to be confident that he can really help them or that he can be counted on. Same with an article that is full of fluff or is poorly written: the reader is going to think, this guy probably can't help me, or he doesn't care enough for me to trust him.

Article Marketing Is Like Hiring A Salesman? How Can That Be? Part II Of III

Here is one parallel between hiring salesmen and writing and publishing an article that not only rings true, but is a good lesson.

Let's say you hire a salesman and you send him out in the field without a business card and only two hours training on your company and product. The reason you do this, is because you don't have any more time to spend with him at first, and you hired him because he seemed to be just the right kind of guy, but you hadn't really put together a plan for how you were going to help this guy be as effective as possible.

You might ask yourself, is it better to have let him go home for a day or two and do nothing while you figure all this out? I say, *No.* Here is where it is similar to starting to write articles.

Should you wait until you know everything before you start to submit and publish articles with directories? Again, I say, *No.*

You see, as you learn more and get better; you can go back and make adjustments to your articles. This is the same with working with a sales rep. If after he has been out in the field for a week, you have lunch with one of your friends and he tells you about how he had these great business cards put together and printed for his sales reps and the impact was their sales went up and the number of calls into the office started to increase.

There is no reason you couldn't go back to your articles after you learned more about how to put together a resource box and make adjustments and improve your resource boxes. You will probably find that you get more visits to your website and even more sales.

The point is that you don't have to wait until you are perfect to start. When you learn more about writing better titles, go back through your articles and see if you can't improve your titles. Just like you can improve the knowledge and effectiveness of your sales rep, you can do the same with your articles.

A call to action in your resource box is an important way to get more people to click the links. People want to know what to do next, and you can help them by making the next step very clear. Want to learn more about how to make your resource boxes more effective? Come sign up for my ezine.

Article Marketing Is Like Hiring A Salesman? How Can That Be? Part III of III

The more I think about the parallels between writing and publishing articles with directories and hiring a sales rep, the more fun I am having with it.

One of the questions that people ask a lot about article writing is can they write about multiple topics or subjects. The answer like so many other things is a conditional, *yes, but.*

Let me explain a little first. The problem is one of perception. People have a hard time accepting that a life coach may also be an expert at crocheting. Somehow, one area seems to diminish the level of acceptance and credibility of the other.

Imagine if you were going in to buy a Lexus, and you decided you wanted to wait a little while before making a decision. Then the sale rep asked if he could come over later in the week and give you a free workup for a financial consultation? Most people, wrong or right, don't think the guy selling them their car is the guy they want helping them with their investments.

So, why is the answer, *yes, but?* Well, there is a way that you can do this and not have the negative impact or at least reduce the potential for it and that is use a different form of your name. For example, the name you see for in their main resource box and the name that they are branding is C.J. Miles.

Let's say a person has an interest that probably is not very compatible to their primary business, an interest in movies. Maybe they have always thought it would be fun to write reviews on movies. The best way for anyone to do this and minimize the impact would be for them to use the Cortney Miles form of their name. They could use any other version really, for example Cortney J. Miles. would be acceptable.

This has two benefits that are closely related, not only are people not very likely to make the connection between the two, the two different versions will not compete in the search engines: in other words, if you went to Google and performed a search on the name, *C.J. Miles,* you would not be able to pull up anything that was written or blogged under *Cortney Miles.* That's all you have to do if you have a couple areas that you have some expertise in and want to share with the world some of your unique ideas -- just use a different form of your name.

I want to reemphasize one point that I made earlier, that is don't worry about being perfect before you start writing articles. Write, get better, learn more, and when you run across something that you know will make a difference in previous articles, go back and modify your previous work. We should all be better in 6 months than we are now, I don't care who you are.

Article Marketing - Don't Leave Your Readers Dying To Contact You, Yet Unable To Figure Out How

When writing articles and posting them on directories, there are 5 things that you can do that will add to the effectiveness and conversions of you articles. Effectiveness being measured by how many people read the article, and then how many people visit your website as a result of the article.

First, enough emphasis cannot be put on the resource box. The bottom line is this is the reader's direct link back to you. The better the information, the easier it is to get to your site, and having a firm call to action can all have a significant impact on the final piece of the puzzle when trying to get targeted traffic to your website and build your opt in subscriber list.

Think about it for a second. You can have a title that not only has the perfect key words, but has the perfect burning question that everyone is dying to know. In your article you could masterfully paint a picture of the importance of the topic and then give the perfect response that will help your readers not only know where to start and the steps that they need to begin, but in addition gives them complete confidence that you are the person that they want to have help them because you are obviously in tune with them and their needs.

At this point, they are scrolling down as fast as humanly possible to get to the resource box that is going to lead them to you and help them achieve their dreams and goals and when they get there all they find is one sentence with your name and a link that doesn't work properly because you put a period at the end of your web address.

You do not want this to be the reason that keeps people from being able to do business with you. Why they should contact you, a call to action and two to three full length, which means include the http://, web addresses is a strong start with your resource box, if you want to learn more about how to make your resource box as effective as possible, come sign up for my ezine.

Aggressive Internet Marketing With Articles May Be The Secret To The Long Sought After Golden Goose

I once interviewed over 150 people who were involved in or that were interested in network marketing companies. I learned a lot about this industry and why it is so attractive to the average person. But, there is one aspect of it that I think relates to article marketing that I think is worth talking about.

The most common answer that I received from the people that I interview was, *Long Term Residual Income.* This is the reason why almost every person I interviewed told me they were interested in Network Marketing.

As I am sure many of you know with very little input from me, very few ever make a profit much less enjoy the benefits of long term residual income. As a matter of fact, I have some doubts as to whether many of those who do rise in the ranks of their companies ever really enjoy or receive the, "long term," part of *long term residual income.* I'll save that for another article, or you can email me and ask me about this yourself.

At this point, you might be wondering what does this have to do with article marketing. I think that article marketing may very well be able to deliver on that often promised but seldom delivered golden goose of, *long term residual income.*

Let me lay this out for you and let's see what you think. First of all, through article marketing you never have to call someone on the phone or bug your family and friends. Second of all, once a person reads one of your articles, they know what it is that you are promoting, and they have an interest in it or they would not have bothered to read the article.

Now if they click on your resource box, they are reaching out to you for more information for one of two reasons. One, they have some degree of confidence in you because of your article, or at the very least, they believe you can lead them to more information on that topic. Either way, I cannot think of any type of lead that is more targeted than that.

The more targeted, as I am sure you can imagine, the more likely they are to do business with you. Here is where it starts to get really cool. What if you focused on products and services with monthly reoccurring fees? Think about that for a second.

That's right; you have created a funnel that only attracts people who are actively looking for your topic. Then they click on your link because they want more information. Lastly, they buy a product or service from you that they are going to need or use over and over again month after month.

No talking to people, no calling your friends and family, no rejection, no thinking about who might be a good prospect. Just you, a word processor, a little research, and internet connection, an affiliate link, and a place to cash checks. If you need more socialization, join a gym with some of the money you'll be making.

If you would like to know what the top 5 or 6 affiliate programs on the net are today, check out my website.

It seemed like even the big name speakers were willing to strike up a conversation with whoever walked up to them. Not only was there a free exchange of ideas, it gave people a real chance to see if a person they were doing business with were really likeminded individuals. I think where this comes into its greatest value, is in looking for joint venture partners.

One of the biggest problems most people have with trying to incorporate joint ventures into their marketing is the idea that sending out one email, or asking one person if they might be interested is a valid attempt at finding a joint venture partner. The email one better seem obvious to you, because unless you have regular contact with someone, one email isn't even a passive attempt at anything.

Calling or asking one person is not a very practical attempt either. Just think back to your dating days, in addition to finding someone that matched your interests and that was interested in you, there was always timing. Most of us have met a person that we think we could be really interested in, but if your girl friend introduces her to you, then the timing might be a little off. Or, if you best friend introduces you to the girl he just got engaged with, and the two of you feel a real chemistry, you should probably wait for a little better timing before exploring that opportunity.

One of my favorite Master List builders told me a story once about how he was in contact for a year with one of the big names he was trying to do a joint venture with, and then when they finally figured out something they could do together, it was going to be another 8 months.

Getting back to meeting people at live events: the bottom line is that you will find very quickly that the numbers of people who attend events regularly are a pretty small. Especially when you separate out those that are really working and focused on making things happen. Once you have made that face to face, and you make a connection with someone, you have gained access to that person. Now, the ball is in your court to help that person see how you can bring value to what they are trying to accomplish.

The first big step in doing this is letting them talk. Find out what they are working on, and what seems to be working and what isn't. Then be creative, and find ways that working with you will make what they want to happen faster, easier, bigger. Once you know where they are going, and when they want to get there, it is a lot easier to figure out when the timing is right and then the obvious conclusion to your friend ship and business relationship is to do something together. The more irons you have in the fire, the sooner you will have one that is ready to strike.

I apologize if you ran across this author unwittingly. His whole life he has suffered from the worst combination of maladies, mean and stupid. You would probably be better off if you limited your exposure and did not go to his personal blog at http://whoisdaniverson.blogspot.com and you definitely want to stay away from his website at http://bigfirststep.biz If you already feel irreparably damaged by what you have seen so far, you may want to take an active and positive approach and start a support group. These 5 Tips Move You Into A Class Of The Most Aggressive Internet Marketing

One, long sales letter still out perform more than twice as well as short sales letter. The bottom line is, that once a person has decided they are in the market for a particular item, they want information, and the more information the better. They also want reassurance that they are making a wise choice. Tell me that it is good, and then make me feel good about buying it from you. Seem to be the key.

Two, *Scientifically Proven.* These words seem so hold some magic key for unlocking people's wallets when they are buying something online. To know that the argument for them making a good decision is backed up by good science is a sure fire way to lower a person's guard and open them up to making a buying decision.

Three, learning search engine optimization seems to be the foundation that much of the targeted and sound online marketing is based on. Not only is it important to get your site ranked well in the search engines, but it is the key to article writing, ad placement, and getting the best possible understanding of how customers are finding the information as well as what they are looking for.

Fourth, the way business plans have been used in the past has to be completely rethought. It was not uncommon for a person who was into developing a plan for their business to tell you what their 5 year business plan was. Today, no one would even consider making a plan that far out, because we all expect to see enough change in the short term to make trying to think 5 years in advance just about impossible.

Fifth, too many people fall into the trap of doing what it looks like everyone else is doing, especially when selling their eBooks. The truth is when you are in the information marketing business, you have an opportunity to set new standards and charge what you think it is worth.

Many times the perception is set by the price before someone ever gets a chance to look at what might be better or best or worth more to the market. If you are the first to write about a new trend, or you go more thoroughly into a topic than anyone else has, or more importantly, you bring a unique perspective to a topic, you get to help set the perception of the value of your eBook by choosing a price that says my product is worth more.

These 5 points are all little things that can make a big difference and are all shaped by a person's knowledge and perception. I guess that is why Napoleon Hill called his book, *(Think) and Grow Rich.*

Dan Iverson can show you how to make your first step a big step when starting your home based business. Having closely documented and written about all that he has learned and because he tracked what actually worked, he can show you how you can start where it took him two years to get to. Are Losing Subscribers With Your First Article?

As you may or may not realize at this point my name is Dan
Iverson and I am the publisher of this ezine. I have
partnered up with Stone Evans and this is my modified version
of his FREE 400 day per-written ezine autoresponder.

You may have already come across Stone Evens, I know I saw
his picture at least 100 times before I finally read past his
headline. If you have preconceived ideas about him which are
negative, I ask that you hear me out. If you don't, then
this will be good info for you too.

After looking at hundreds of things online, trying several of
them, I was pretty confident that I understood what all of
the pieces were that I needed to be pulled together to
effectively market online.

The problem was, I am sure that many of you can identify, if
not, you will probably experience this soon, and that is not
only was it hard to know what to focus on first, but I knew
that I did not have the expertise in all of the areas needed
to build a marketing campaign.

This did not even take into consideration picking products
that I wanted to try and sell online.

I did know one thing for sure, and that was what I kept
hearing over and over again from many of the top marketers
that I was meeting at seminars and online. That is, "The
money is in the list."

I had started a couple of lists in the last few years and
found it very hard to know what to write to my list on a
regular basis, and keep it of value.

Right at this cross road is when I finally decided to read
Stone Evan sales letter. 3 things caught my eye, and after
several days deliberation and now after a couple of months
invested into his program, here is why I recommend it,
especially if you are just getting started.

There is just too much to learn when trying to get started
online. Between websites, copy writing, blogs, Web 2.0, html,
PHP, graphics, SEO, Key Words, Article writing and submission
not to mention all of the technology, it is just too much for
the average person to get started and be effective online.

With the initial package that you get with Stone Evens you
get a 400 day pre-written ezine autoresponder. This has
been tested by him and he says it has a 3% close ratio.

This is completely customizable. Why is that important? The
reason I thought this was such an effective way to start is
because it give you a place to begin and focus your efforts.

Build Your list!!!

You don't have to worry about what to say to them, you don't
have to worry about learning a million different things, and
not knowing where to start.

You don't have to worry about trying to pick products, Stone
picked very established and quality companies to start with.

You might ask, what if I already have some things I want to
promote? Or, what If I don't want to promote these companies
the rest of my life?

The answer lies in the fact that the ezine and the website
for that matter, are all yours. They are completely
customizable. You can promote whatever you want whenever
you want to.

After you sign up for the program, is when Stone tells you
about the 3% effectiveness of the ezine. He tells you this
because he thinks in the long run, we can do much better.

What he teaches is that the other 97% are going to buy
something. They signed up because they are looking. So You
start to adopt other products or services over time so you
can have something for everyone.

He says, "The money is in the follow up." Which if they get
good information from you, then they will start to trust you
when they are ready to start making decisions about what
they want.

So, let’s recap. You get a free 400 day ezine, website,
autoresponder, and a set of affiliate programs to start with.
Then you have unlimited freedom to do what every you want
after that, starting whenever you want.

That is a plan.

Most of you don't have a plan to start with,
now you do, and it starts with you focusing on the most important
foundation of success online, that is building your list.

If you haven't read it yet, I recommend that you read
my "Who Is" page. This will give you a better idea of who I
am and what I bring to the table.

http://whoisdaniverson.blogspot.com

Let me just say, that I think Stone is guilty of a few problems
that I think many online marketers are, and that is he recommends
things that he probably make money off of, but are not very
cost effective for you. What I mean by that is you don’t get
enough return on your investment. I will give the Instantbuzz
as an example.

I am going to share with you from my experience what works,
what doesn't, what to use, and what to stay away from.
Plus anything else that I think will help you save money and
be successful.

You are on my team.

I make contributions to this ezine once or twice a week in
the form of broadcast messages. I then post them on my
blog at: http://daniverson.blogspot.com

Everything I write gets posted there, you can always subscribe
to the RSS Feed there if you only want to get just those
messages.

I am really looking forward to helping you anyway I can.
Even if you know you will never be interested in any part
of the Stone Evens program, I encourage you to remain a
subscriber to my ezine. I promise you will learn a lot, and you
will get a lot of straight scoop that you won’t get any where
else. Again read my, “Who Is,” Blog for more info or my personal
blog for and idea of all that I contribute to my readers.

Below are some offers that Stone Evans has put together
for your use and mine, enjoy!

Consequence: This Directory Suspended My Account. Not the Best Internet Marketing Strategies

When you get locked out, it is pretty much a sledge hammer in the head. After the screen pops up telling you that your account has been suspended, you are giving the ability to submit a message, I think that they realize you might have some questions, and they don’t want to contribute to your frustration more than necessary.

Wow! There really are some great articles published on this directory. I know what you are thinking; this guy is dirking the ezinearticles.com directory Kool-aid. Well maybe, but I have to admit I am learning a lot. First I was able to publish my first 10 articles. I think 3 or 4 of them had to be submitted twice to get them accepted. OK, now I am ready to be a Platinum Member…

Well, hold on a second, three or four out of your ten submissions did not make it. But, you did get them through after a little more work, so how about a Basic Plus Membership and after you submit 25 more articles, we will see if your ready. I have to admit, this gave me a moment’s pause, and I did write a threatening email to the directory, but alas, who cares, I just want to publish more articles and get more visitors to my sight so nothing else matters.

So, I submit about 10 more articles with only one that I had to modify slightly. Wow, I am getting the hang of this. But, wait a minute, this is going kind of slow, and I think I can think of a way to publish more articles every day. First I write an article on the affiliate programs that I am promoting and it is so un-objective and one sided that after 3 tries and 3 rejections, I decided to just delete it.

Then I take 5 PLR’s articles that I get from one of my co-ops and decide to rewrite them, wink, wink. After I read the first one, I disagree with half of it, and don’t like the other half, so I decide to create another authors name so I don’t tarnish my name with this garbage. Stupid me, posts these on a Friday, so they have to sit there all weekend doing nothing. Then the hammer fell when I had finally giving up on my review of my affiliate programs, the unbiased one, I couldn’t delete it because my account was suspended.

Oh yeah, quick side note, I did submit one more article that weekend that I did write, and I actually read about 5 articles posted on the directory for inspiration, so I was really proud of this one. Not to mention the fact that I was very impressed by the good information and quality of the articles I did read.

When you get locked out, it is pretty much a sledge hammer in the head. After the screen pops up telling you that your account has been suspended, you are giving the ability to submit a message, I think that they realize you might have some questions, and they don’t want to contribute to your frustration more than necessary. So I decided to use my words to show them that this was going to be a terrible mistake loosing me, I wrote, *What seems to be the problem?* (Not Funny)

Little did I know, there was already an email in my inbox explaining that they found another article on the Internet with parts that were word for word the same as mine. By the way, I was not credited with writing them.

I look at the other website. Yeah, I was a little embarrassed. No, I did not think that changing a few more words was going to help. I have to admit, up until this very moment, I really did not think that article marketing was a viable form of marketing. I really thought if you have hundreds of thousands of people modifying and republishing content that it was building up a lot of pointless crap. I felt that as wide spread as this idea is everyone telling you that you don’t have to be able to write, that the value was diminishing by the second.

I was giving permission to access my account and was asked to remove any other articles that, *I did not write.* I did it, and thought it was interesting that they did not feel it was their responsibility to read the rest and see if they could weed out any more. I deleted 3 of them and the request that you put a reason, and I wrote the word, *Orange.* (Not Funny)

My account was immediately reinstated. I am sure that I have a little mark next to my account somewhere. I deserve it. I was also glad that they made this a priority and did not wait a day in between each reply to get this taken care of.

I will have to say, it was that experience that made me a believer. I think I was coming along slowly and this helped push me over the edge. I think a person can make a real difference if they pick topics that they care about and want to write about. I plan on writing my own articles from now on. As a matter of fact, I plan on learning a lot more about this and publishing and ezine and will be sharing what I learn with you.

Here is the only soap boxing I am going to do. Don’t buy into the crap, if you want to build a business online, bring and build value with all that you do, and you will make money and be around a long time. If you keep trying the short cuts, you will find a thing or two that works for a while, but you will have a week foundation, and it won’t last.

There’s fast, and then there is effective: Guess which one will make you the most money?

First I spend a lot of money and try to find every short cut possible, then I do it right and start making money. Sound like anyone you know?

In my last article, I suggested that you can change the world by writing articles that make a difference to you. Also in that article, I said that if you want to write more articles, then you should read more articles. It seems like there are two ways to do everything on the Internet: the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and the right way. Now, if at this point you are thinking why are those three sentences all in one paragraph, and does this maniac think he is going to be able to pull these three different things together. The answer is *Yes,* and in less than 10,000 words too…lol. Let’s get started.

When I first started online, I was fortunate enough to be taught to start with a content website. After learning about search engine optimization (SEO), keyword content, authority sites, and back links, I knew I needed to submit articles to article directories so I could built back links to my site, helping me give my site more credibility and increasing my rankings in the search engines.

I was taught that I was not to expect the articles to bring traffic to my site, but that it was the links I wanted for better search engine rankings. (I no longer believe that last statement.) I was also taught that it was better to pick specific directories that were actually related in theme and content to the theme and content of my website.

So, what did I do, I came across and ad that said I could have my article submitted to over 500 directories in less than a day. In case you have not noticed, I am the kind of guy that thinks if two aspirin are good, then ten must be better. I also want to say, that in my training they did teach that SEO was not a fast process, but that if done correctly, it was a lucrative one. Anyway, I thought I was going to jump right on the fast track and get two or three of my articles posted in over 500 directories, and this would bring hundreds of people to my site, and that the search engines would want to put my site to the top of the page, do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars.

Well, like I said, there is the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and then there is the right way. Guess what, I did not get much traffic, maybe 3 or 4 visitors, and I did not get my article posted on hundreds of directories. Did I mention that deep down inside of me a little voice was saying, if everyone did this, there would be millions of worthless articles stored on hard drives that would serve no purpose except to create back links? Then the little voice said, if millions of people did it, it would be valueless to the search engines or anyone else. Let’s contrast that to what I am doing now.

Now I am trying to write 30 articles. I have 21 active articles on ezinearticles.com. I have had about 300 people read these articles and about 10 of them have been published elsewhere by I don’t know who. I have personally read about 50 to 60 articles in this directory myself. I really like this article directory. I have confidence that my articles bring value to my readers and to the directory, because I write about things that I think are honestly interesting and important.

When I finish writing 30 articles, I plan on making keyword content videos out of some of them and posting those videos on YouTube with back links to my site. I have my profile filled out on ezinearticles.com and my picture posted. I did a search to see if I could find any of my old articles, and I found one in a directory that I never heard of and it has been viewed 5 times and although it did have my resource box, all it had in the profile was my first and last name. I surprised that I haven’t had a hundred people call me off of that one article aren’t you? (Sarcasm)

Once I get these 30 articles written, I may do some research and pick a few more directories and post some of them with those. I will read articles and do a little research before I pick those new directories. Now, ask yourself one simple question. If everybody did it the way I did it the first time, who would benefit?

Now, ask yourself another question, if everyone started with one directory completely filled out their profiles, read several articles from different authors before carefully writing articles of their own giving their unique perspective and then actively participated and contributed to another directory a few months later, who would benefit? Like I said, there is the fast, easy, massive powerful way, and then there is the right way. By the way, if you look closely, you might be able to see how you can change the world with one of these methods.

ow you can change the world with one of these methods.

Monday, December 17, 2007

Do you want to write articles that completely change your world? Then read this!

I hear it again and again; the quality of your articles doesn’t matter, just change a few words and get it out there. The truth is out, that is all wrong. If you want to write content that will have an impact and keep paying dividends, then read this!

Want to write more and better articles? The answer is simple, read more articles. I really like the way ezinearticles.com keeps a couple of lists of articles below each of the articles that you write or read. It is an easy way to see how your article stands up, learn new information, get fresh ideas, and get fresh perspectives.

I have to admit, that I have a little bit of a hard times with some of the rewrites of rewrites that people post online, and I am a strong believer that the value you add to the articles and content of the Internet will bring you a higher return on investment for the work that you do.

It is not always easily measured by click through and re-publish statistics that you get on your articles. What I mean by that is some of the articles that I feel I have really poured my heart and soul into are not always the most read or used by other sites. There is the part of article marketing that can’t be measured by numbers.

That may sound a little strange, so let me try to explain. First let me say, I am far from an article marketing expert. With some work that I have done with a couple of websites and the other articles I have put together and submitted to article directories, I have written less than 100 articles. So, what do I mean by success cannot always be measured by number?

For me there is a little faith involved here. I believe that If I write articles that matter to me, and that I think are important, that somewhere or somehow those articles will attract a person that I am looking for, and maybe they will go and read more articles and because of the connection they felt with me learning about me through what I wrote in an article, they end up brining me one of my next opportunities or maybe they become my next big business partner: and all this will be a result of the quality that I put into my work now, even when I wasn’t getting immediate satisfaction.

So my advice, even without me having big success that might have more impact to influence you, is to pay your due to the universe, and be true to yourself. No effort goes unrecognized by the universe, and will probably draw someone into your life that will make all the difference. I learned several years ago, and have seen again and again, most major success can be tied to a small handful of relationships that you probably could not have ever for seen the full value that comes as a result.

Plug in Profits? Stone Evens? Could this be what you are looking for? My Review

Have you heard of Stone Evens and the Plug in Profit site and marketing system? Either you are so new to the Internet that you just have not had a chance to see that much yet, or you were like I was for the first couple of years coming across his ads, and just ignoring them. For those of you who have not taken a look yet, here is a quick review.

The first question is what is it that Stone Evens is offering with this program? Well, this list is no small offering. Let’s review:

400 days of pre-written profit-pulling follow-ups (pre-written ezine) WOW!

Instant, reliable delivery

Unlimited message length

Unlimited message changes

Password-protected online control panel

Powerful personalization features

Smart tracking features

Database access

Powerful mailing list management features

Automatically clean your mailing list

Built-in anti-spam filters

Bullet-proof email delivery mechanism

Security, reliability and peace of mind

Toll-free 1-800 telephone and email support

List-builder service

This list is in the words of the Plug in Profit ad itself. Notice a common theme? That’s right; the money is in the list. If you look a little closer, you will see that what it really says is the money is in the follow up.

I have to say, of the hundreds of programs that I have looked at, I continually see one common flaw. That is that you have to become an expert at so many things to have any success that most people don’t have a chance, much less know where to start. I hear it time and time again, “I lack focus!” This is what I was saying before I was giving a clear direction, and this is what people email me and post on my blog again and again. “They know what all the pieces are now, but they just don’t know where to start.”

So how does Stone Evens solve that issue for his potential students? He gives them all the tools they need to collect, develop and follow up aggressively with the best list building and follow up tools on the market. How’s that for a great place to start with a direct focus?

Now all you have to do is follow his 30 day course on how to drive traffic to the site that he give you and also lets you customize, and to his proven sale letter, telling his story and what he had put together for everyone you can find that is willing to read.

I don’t know about you, but I think Stone Evens has a winner here in his Plug in Profit system.

Unlimited Inspiration to Write Ezine Articles! It’s so easy you’ll say, “Why Didn’t I Think of That?”

Ever feel like you have a lack of inspiration for writing articles? Yes, I am sure you have heard that you can just do keyword searches in your favorite article directory and do some minor rewrites of some of the existing articles that are already posted. Yes you can bring your influence to them and make them better.

How would you like to only write about what you think is hot, and be able to share your unbiased opinion? Sound too good to be true? Well, it may not be as hard as you think. When I first hear that the best way to build relationships of trust and be able to show your potential clients that you have something of real value to them was to give them information for free, my second thought was, if everyone is doing this, I don’t want to squander a free education.

What do mean by that? Let me explain. There are some very sharp and bright people out there marketing on the Internet, and then there is everyone else. So if they are giving away gold nuggets to get you to buy the golden goose then why not take all the gold nuggets you can get. What I mean by that is, I sign up for everything. That’s right everything. I probably get 500 + messages every day.

Are you with me yet, or are you more confused than ever? The bottom line is after signing up for everything for well over a year, I know just about everything that is going on and who all the major players are, and what’s good an unique, and what is the same old dribble everyone else is pushing.

Not only that, but every email and offer I get is a lesson in marketing. Some are lessons in what to do, and some are lessons in what not to do. Have you heard of a SWIP file? I organize all my mail into folders as they come in. If I find that someone is worth following, I create a directory just for them, and then I create a rule in Outlook that all messages from them go to that directory. The truth is after all of this time, I usually group people together depending on a verity of different reasons.

I have turned my Outlook into a massive SWIP file. This gives me the ability to find things that are timely and relevant and quickly be able to write an article about it. The most recent evolution of this system has been with RSS. I subscribe to someone’s blog or website RSS if I think they are hot, and I get kept up to date and up to the minute on anything new they add or do on one of their sites.

What? Armand Moran is having a free webinar, I am all over it, and you will have an article on it the next day.

Aggressive Internet Marketing Guru Secrets for Maximizing Articles on Internet Marketing

Relatively new Internet marketer is busted for theft from the secret play book of one of the Internet's most aggressive Internet marketers. You won't believe what he found and is now reveled for all. Were you wondering how you were going to develop your own autoresponder series for your ezine?

What if I could sneak into the basement office of one of the top Internet promoters alive today? This promoter is constantly trying his skills by applying his techniques on different industries. He just started from nothing and made $250,000 profit in 4 months in real estate. So here you are my friends, a page straight from the playbook of a real winner. You better make copies or print this before I get caught and I am forced to take it down.

First you write the article, as always with carefully chosen keywords. Then you submit it to your carefully chosen article directories. Then you post those articles on your blog keeping their content fresh. Then you post the articles to the blogs on your favorite social network sites. Did you know you had a blog on your MySpace site?

Then you post the articles to your main website. You are always looking to add depth to the content on this site. (Age and volume do carry weight with the search engines.) Then you use these articles to inform and teach your ezine subscribers by sending the content out in emails.

I know that press releases are an excellent way to get fast recognition and results on the web. I still have to figure this one out and try it for myself. Please share any insights that you might have.

Now here is the part, that I have recently started, doing myself, and am very excited about the ease with which it makes recording and publishing videos. You use the content from your articles as scripts for your videos. Each video is then taking advantage of the Web 2.0 and monopolizing on your keyword research letting your videos add another layer to your targeted promotion. (YouTube, Google Video, and many more.)

Now this is one that I have not gotten into at all yet, but I think it would be foolish not to use this natural step. Rip the audio off of the video and submit it as podcasts.

Finally, turn all of the above into a new “Squidoo lens”. Don’t know what that is? It’s time to find out.

Like I said, I expect to hear from someone’s lawyers soon, so you better print it, copy it or do whatever you can to make sure you have your copy of this, because I don’t expect to get away with this long.

Article Marketing With Article Directories on Steroids

You've read all the articles on article marketing. You've read all the articles on article directories. You even read a couple of good books on Search Engine Optimization. Well, hang on to your britches, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

Stop the insanity! You are not going to believe this one. This is so new and so hot; I can almost guarantee that you have not heard this one anywhere else. I am not even sure I can make a whole article about this, but I am sure that this is a must know before you post another article.

First I want to give you fair warning, you have to have a blog to take full advantage of this technique. If you don’t have one, no problem, you can go to blogger.com right now and get one for free and be up and running in less than 10 minutes. You may want to take a little longer though and get the profile filled out properly and add a picture of yourself. I got mine taken professionally with publishing rights at JC Pennies for less than $30.

Ok, so after you submit and the articles are accepted by your favorite article directory, I use ezinearticles.com, you test the links and make sure that they are all working properly. I am looking suspiciously to the left and then to the right… Then you take those links and you submit them to the search engines. Again, looking left, and then right. That’s right; you submit them to the search engines. If you don’t know how to do this don’t worry, here are the links.

http://beta.search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx

Now, you may think this seems a little strange, but I have it form someone that is so far inside, there are doubts whether or not this person has actually been born yet.

Here is the final step and this is where the blog comes in. You create back links from your blog to the URL’s for the articles. Go ahead, take a minute and catch your breath. It was a shock to me too. You may want to ask someone in your family to get you a glass of water. Let me just repeat that so you don’t think it was mistyped. You setup back links from your blog to your posted articles at your favorite directories.

This is the Biggest Misconception of Home Business

In general, I feel like there is a lot of good information about what kinds of things a person needs to do to drive traffic to his or her site. I think that there is plenty of emphasis on the importance of capturing names and building a list. I think that more and more the word is getting out about “Squidoo,” social networking, audio and video all as ways to build credibility, and to help people get the chance to get to know the real you better. Let’s not forget article writing with rich keyword content. The list of ways that can be worked in combination is quite lengthy.

Actually, now that I have listed a few, and think about the fact that most people are in the early stages of learning about all these things, I think it is probably more accurate to say that most people know about one or maybe two of these things. But this article is not about that, this article is about the well kept secret of how much of each of these things it takes to start to really have an impact and start to see some results.

I think that the common misconception of most people is that if I buy this course and do the 5 things that it tells me, “Bang!” I will start to have success with my home based Internet marketing business online. So they get the free web site setup with a domain name they came up with, they register it with the search engines under the 10 keywords that the author of their course, suggests, maybe they setup a MySpace account, and they figure out how to setup a link back to their new website, and finally, they pay the $100 to get 10,000 guaranteed visitors to their site.

As skeptical as I was this is among the first steps that I took, maybe adding getting some pay per click ads out. And then I just thought I would sit back and see what happened. I think the first day, I made $90.00. I thought wow, this might be it. I think that I had one more sale in the next 4 to 5 weeks before I shut down the site and decided to try something else.

Ok so what is the secret you might ask? Volume! Volume? That’s right volume! If I would have setup a budget for my pay per click and did my own research on keywords, and found some bargain or niche keywords that I could have tracked and ran for a good while, If I would have found 5 sites that can drive guaranteed visitors to my site instead of one, If I would have not only opened up a My Space but 15 to 30 other social network accounts, and build real profiles, and posted articles, and regularly reached out to others on these sites to build my friends list, and finally wrote 30 to 50 articles and posted them on a carefully selected Article Directory or two, then I would have started to see some results.

I think the best kept dirty little secret with regards to home based Internet marketing online is that you have to do all of the techniques in volumes enough to actually have an impact on the Internet. It all goes back to what I have said in the past, and that is that business is competition. So, if, for example, you are not writing more and better articles and selecting better keywords than the vast majority of marketers out there, you are not going to win your share of the business.

I am going to write in a lot more detail about each one of the above techniques, and share with you what seems most effective and, what doesn’t seem to work. But first, I have to get 30 to 50 articles written for Ezinearticles.com, with the best 30 key words that I can find so that I can start to really get my share and so I can tell you definitively how effective this will be for you. Ad a zero or two to the amount of times you thought you were going to try something, and then I think you will have a good start, but only a start.

Affiliate Internet Marketing: Are All Copy-Writers Shameless?

Why do I have the feeling that I am going to live to regret writing and publishing this article? Two things, I have to admit, one is that as far as affiliate Internet marketing goes, I have lost my objectivity. What I mean by that, is a year or so ago, I would not have even ready some of the hype that I have now read most of from start to finish. “How to Make $99,871.00 per Week, Working 2.8 Minutes per Day.” “This System Never Fails, Only the People Who Buy it Do.” I don’t think that is an exact quote. I think this is what they call aggressive internet marketing.

Like I said, are these Copy-Writers shameless. I read an eBook about a year ago by a famous real estate investment author that chronicles every step he made to accomplishes what he says is making $100,000 in 24 hours online or something like that. After sending out several emails saying things like, “You have to be here Wednesday night, when we reveal our special once in a life time supper extreme mega mania secret offer that you will only hear about if you are sitting at your computer ready to read the email prior to the 15 min self destruct sequence which timer begins upon pressing the send button on my computer.”

Did I mention that he had all the people send in their social security numbers prior to sending out any offers with a financial summary of available cash and estimated non collateral dept availability? He wanted to make sure the offers did not leave any money in the wrong hands…lol

The main point I had against this particular book was that he tells you what his total sales were, but he seems to forget, that he was going to have to pay for all of the seminars and other bonuses that he threw in but had still not even arranged. Last I heard, it still coast a lot of money to get a space, book speakers, and all the things that are required to put on a seminar.

I guess I can’t be too cynical about all of this; it really is no different than the rags of gossip being sold at the checkout line at the super market. The reason they are there, is because lots and lots of people buy them. I guess the difference is that what they write in the gossip columns is at least plausible, unlike the ads for affiliate Internet marketing.

What about this one, does anyone really think they are only going to sell 57 of these at this price? If so, does any of those people really believe that the 57 crossed out with the number 19 next to it is really how many sold since they read the first page? I was pretty sure it had to be true, until one time my computer suddenly shut down in the middle of the process, and when I finally got to my friends computer the next day and pulled up the offer so I could still try and get it, the ad still said only 57 and the second page still said 19???

The reason that I say I am probably going to regret writing this is, before I had my Son, I was one of those people that said, “When I have children, I am never going to…” I can say with full discloser, that everything I said to finish that sentence, I have not only done that with my own son, but probably a lot worse. Yes, after I gave him his first McDonalds French Fries, he refused to ever eat a green vegetable again. What is in those things?

My point is, I am sure it won’t be long before, I will have an offer for my list that is exclusive and limited in number or some other artificial circumstance to create a sense of urgency. But for now, I am still on the side of the parent who says, “I would never let my kid… when I have them.”

Are you following your guide to internet marketing?

Do you even have a guide to internet marketing? For me, one of my main guides is Matt Bacak’s monthly news letter, which I receive via mail, a hard copy, every month. Matt is a local millionaire in the Atlanta metro area whose promotion techniques are well proven, and always being refined. He told me once that the reason he shares so much, is because it keeps raising the bar and then he is forced to get better. So with this great advisor, and this great guide, what seems to be the problem?

Here is my problem. I think I have a pretty strong handle on what I need to be doing to successfully promote my business and my website. Lately I have been putting a lot of emphasis on article marketing. The strategy is one where you research keywords that are being searched for between 1000 to 10,000 times per month. But the number of sites that provide results for those keywords is lower.

An example is the key word phrase, “guide to internet marketing.” If you look it up on Wordtracker, you will see that it was searched for 1397 times. Then, if you do a search on Google, you will see that there are only 1163 sites that have content for that keyword phrase. They key is to go to ezine directories, and article directory with a PR (Page Rank) of 5 or higher and write and publish articles that include that keyword phrase in the title and body of the text. If you like, you can always see if your favorite ezine is publishing articles too.

I have been told that because of the high popularity of video and web 2.0 sites, that if you use this technique and use the keywords in the description of your video, this will also be a great way to get recognized by the search engines and drive more traffic to your site. Following this advice, I was able to exert a little discipline this weekend and signed up for and posted my profile in 40 social networks.

Again, you might ask, “What is the problem?” The problem can be summed up in one word, “Perfection.” That’s right, “Perfection.” Why is that a problem? Simple, it keeps me from finishing anything. Let’s take these social networks for example. All I have to do is create video, and post it on all of these sites with the keywords that I have a chance of getting the most attention from in the description, and Walla, lots of traffic. I even have a very nice Sony HD video camera. “I don’t see the problem.” You say. Well, I can’t seem to get the lighting right, and I don’t like the way I look around when I am trying to think of what to say. I am not sure if what I am saying is complete enough for anyone to understand.

See, “Perfection.” I can’t get anything done. So what is the cure? The cure is publish, publish, publish. It will get better. The bottom line is that you have to put something out there. Even if it is the dumbest thing that anyone has ever seen, read, or heard, now you have something to improve upon. And, improve upon it you will. So, here is my commitment, by this time tomorrow, I am going to have some video posted on all of these new sites that I have signed up for. Remember, no matter how bad it is, once you get it out there, you can work on making it better. There is only one place to go from the bottom.

Fraud or a Home Internet Based Business Opportunity: Article Review

For some of us the cost on our education to learn how to make money online will be much more than others. Learn how you can keep from over paying for your online education.

With so many people looking for home Internet based business opportunities it seems the Internet has become pretty fertile ground for fraud and get rich quick scams.

I recently read an article that noted 4 main areas that you can watch out for to help you identify the fakes. I also read recently that the price of education to learn how to make money on the Internet is very high. I think that this is true if you don’t do two things, one stick with and complete the program that you choose, and two thinking you might be the one who gets lucky and gets rich quick. One reason I am writing this article is to help you keep the costs of your education down. Most people have to pay for a couple of get rich quick opportunities before they learn that you only reap what you so.

So here are the four things that the article that I read pointed out, and I think these are all true, with one exception, which I will point out.

* A large sum of money to start.

* Claims of large returns of money for little effort.

* Talks a lot about the opportunity, but seems to never get around to what the product is.

* When you actually try to contact someone, you find little or no information available.

I think there are probably as many good home Internet based opportunities online as there are bad, so finding one where there is good contact information should not be that hard. One of the reasons that I put my phone number in with my contact information is because I really would like to talk with someone who is considering doing business with me. I will probably ask tougher question than they might expect if they don’t have a lot of questions of their own.

My goals have nothing to do with selling units, or signing people up, I want to know that I helped you with something that helped you either start to make money, or made it easier for you to make more. At the end of the day, I don’t want to say I sold thousands; I want to say that the few that I helped did really well.

I believe if you have to put too much money into something upfront, you should ask yourself, “Who benefits from that?” No matter what you have to invest in the buying of or buying into an opportunity, there are a lot of things you have to spend money on very wisely before you’ll be enable to have a successful business. Take it from me, the man who has build started several businesses, made great progress setting up new accounts and making sales, only to have to quit, because I simply ran out of money and needed to eat and pay my rent.

That is one of the things I like about the Plug in Profit program, Stone Evens has already put a lot of money into developing some great tools to help you be successful, but there is still a lot of work to do.

One last thing, I seem to have run into a string of things lately that have no contact info. I have found this very frustrating. Some of the things have not worked at all, and some, I just need some questions answered. This is very bad, and doesn’t do anybody any good. This should be one of the biggest benchmarks that everything you look at should have to meet. No direct contacts…RUN and save yourself the tuition.
